Cosmopack makes its New York debut

Cosmopack is making a first foray outside Italy. The section of the Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna tradeshow dedicated to the suppliers of the cosmetics industry is making its New York debut as a training and networking workshop on the 22nd and 23rd September 2014 at the Trump Soho Hotel.

The “Cosmopack New York Symposium” will open with a presentation of a research project commissioned by Cosmopack and carried out by Euromonitor International, on the distinctive features of the American market. A second roundtable will be focused on the Italian supply chain, with a focus on the main production districts in Italy.

We felt the need to organize this symposium because we strongly believe in the development of the American market for Italian and European firms manufacturing and supplying the most advanced technological and creative solutions within the beauty industry. We already have a foothold in the American market with Cosmoprof North America, which we organize in partnership with PBA (the Professional Beauty Association). We think it is important to create a platform for the East Coast, where the biggest American businesses in the sector manufacture their products,” said Duccio Campagnoli, President of BolognaFiere.

The Symposium is organised in partnership with Cosmetica Italia, the association representing the cosmetic industry in Italy, and the Polo Tecnologico della Cosmesi, a gathering of Italian suppliers of packaging and products for the cosmetic brands.
