The next edition of the Skin Science Days organised by Cosmet’in Lyon (formerly known as CED) will be held on May 20 and 21, 2021, with Professor Richard Gallo (UC San Diego), as keynote speaker and VIP guest.
All sessions will be held in English and online, due to the global health crisis. This year’s leading theme is: "How clinical experience highlights skin biology mechanisms".
Inflammation / Immunology
From the fundamental to the clinic: how in vitro models can highlight the pathophysiology of inflammatory skin diseases
Cutaneous side effects of tyrosine kinase inhibitors
Effect of Titrated Extract of Centella asiatica on skin repair process
Skin regeneration / Scarring / Stem cells
Electric field to modulate cutaneous cell behavior and matrix remodeling
Skin Science : Industrial Perspective
Glycation by glyoxal leads to profound changes in the behavior of dermal fibroblasts
Aging / Hyperpigmentation
Mechanobiology in skin aging
Interplay between epidermal and immune cells in vitiligo
Tissue engineering of a functional skin age spots model with individualized hyperpigmentation lesion through high resolution 3-dimensional inkjet bioprinting
Tracing tumour initiation in real time by live imaging
Clinical intervention and new technologies
Cold atmospheric plasma promotes killing of Staphylococcus aureus by macrophages
Dual immune contribution of cutaneous microbiota and macrophages: application to atopic dermatitis
About twenty international experts, in dermocosmetology will provide insight from a research, clinical and industrial point of view, through 8 sessions of an extremely high scientific level.
