Clarins group has selected Cosfibel Premium to create Thierry Mugler’s Christmas coffret.
With its generous size and asymmetrical bow-tie shape, this board coffret is comprised of a base and lid that are printed in bulk-dyed paper and embossed for a slightly grainy leather effect with a touch of hot-stamping. Inside, the thermoformed wedge is covered in the same textured paper as on the lid, while the mould that cradles the bottle is covered with a deflector.
Far from a standard, this coffret’s volume called for a close partnership between Cosfibel Premium and the brand to develop a creative solution while taking into account technical constraints and qualitative demands.
According to Cosfibel, the main challenges of this unique shape were an highly precise adjustment of the cover and base to allow for easy handling, the fact that each piece had to be dried on a template in order to avoid the shape from getting deformed, and that the angles had to be well-protected during transport.
The coffret contains an eau de toilette and ancillary products. It comes in nine different versions for men and women
