Cosfibel acquires Gift ID and Asian Luxury

The Cosfibel group carries on its strategy to strengthen its leadership position on the luxury consumer goods market by acquiring Gift ID and Asian Luxury. Both entities will report to Cosfibel Premium, the group’s subsidiary, managed by Ilan Schinazi (CEO) and Stanislas Peronnet (COO), and dedicated to luxury set up boxes and promotional items.

Managed by Priscille ALLAIS since 2008, Gift ID is a Paris-headquartered design agency. It has become a key player in upper-class gift design for more than 20 major brands in the luxury and cosmetics markets. According to Cosfibel, the agency will continue to grow while keeping its autonomy and existing management team. “Priscille Allais will continue to work for prestigious clients, which have already entrusted the company with great expectations,” adds the group in a release.

As per Asian Luxury, a Hong Kong based company, it has developed over the past 5 years a unique expertise focused on high-luxury gifts such as leather goods. This expertise on high-luxury brands has developed rapidly thanks to its high level of know-how and excellent standard of quality control. “Asian Luxury will bring to Cosfibel Premium a unique perspective on exclusive and prestige products, as Solvpack did for the Wine & Spirit market,” says Cosfibel.

Last August, Cosfibel acquired Solvpack, dedicated to luxury set up boxes for Wine & Spirit markets.

The Cosfibel group has grown over the past 10 years to become a leader in the merchandising and packaging of luxury, and added value consumer goods products industry. Today, Cosfibel group’s activities fall into two major branches: plastic secondary packaging, which through Cosfibel Industry represents one-fourth of the group’s activities, and luxury set up boxes and promotional items, made by Cosfibel Premium and representing three-fourth of the total business.

In 2013, Cosfibel Group expects to reach a 100 million USD turnover, of which 80 million will come from Cosfibel Premium. We strongly believe that such growth will allow the Group to focus on innovative new developments while serving better its worldwide customers,” concludes Alain Chevassus, the group’s Founder and President.
