Cinquieme Sens makes debuts in South Korea

Cinquieme Sens continues its development abroad. The centre for creation, animation, consulting and professional training in fragrances has announced the addition of their latest licensee, Mr Byung Hyun Kim, in South Korea.

Born in South Korea, Byung-hyun Kim majored in Chemistry in college and started his career as a specialist in Amore Pacific, which is one of the major cosmetics company in South Korea. He continued on his journey as a perfumer in Fragrance Research Center of LG Household & Healthcare for 30 years.

Having completed various fragrance training courses from world-class companies in fragrance industry such as Givaudan Perfumery School, Symrise, IFF, and Hasegawa, he developed his professional expertise in this field. Even after his retirement as a chief perfumer a couple of years ago, he did not cease to pursuit his career in this field. He has been working as a fragrance technical advisor for Ewoo chemical company (Drom agency in Germany) in Seoul, and teaching at various perfumery academies and colleges as an adjunct professor.
