On Thursday June 7, 2018, Chanel celebrated the launch of its new fragrance collection, Les Eaux de Chanel, at the Deauville-Clairefontaine racecourse.
Now available in stores, this collection, inspired by three destinations dear to Gabrielle Chanel (Deauville, Biarritz and Venice), was composed by perfumer Olivier Polge in collaboration with the Chanel Laboratory of Fragrance Creation and Development. While the three eaux de toilette fragrances (Paris-Deauville, Paris-Biarritz and Paris-Venise) share the olfactory territory of the freshness of citrus, each fragrance provides its own interpretation.
Many friends and ambassadresses of the House celebrated the launch together with Olivier Polge, among them actresses Yara Shahidi, Alma Jodorowsky, Alessandra Mastronardi, Ella Purnell, Japanese actress Tao Okamoto, Chinese actress Liu Shi Shi, Korean singer Jennie Kim and French actor Nicolas Maury. The party continued late into the night with the performance of French singer Owlle.
