Caudalie Group, which invested in Talm during the French skincare brand’s 2023 fundraising round, has acquired a majority stake in the company founded by Kenza Keller. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction marks the first acquisition in the history of the group led by Mathilde and Bertrand Thomas.

Founded in 2021, Talm initially focused on body care products during pregnancy and postpartum (Talm stands for “To All the Mamas”). The brand has gradually expanded its offering to include skincare for sensitive skin at all stages of life. The brand now offers around a dozen products, operates in roughly a dozen countries, and is reporting double-digit revenue growth.

Caudalie plans to accelerate Talm’s international expansion and product development by leveraging its pharmacy network, sales force, and global infrastructure.

According to the two companies, Talm will retain full operational and creative autonomy. Kenza Keller will remain CEO, continuing to oversee the brand’s strategy, product development, marketing, and creative direction. Talm’s team has nevertheless relocated to Caudalie’s Paris headquarters in the 4th arrondissement.

"Today, Talm officially becomes the first brand to join the Caudalie group, and I am immensely proud. Talm retains complete operational and creative independence, and I will continue to lead its strategy, marketing, product development, and vision," Keller wrote in a LinkedIn post.

Mathilde Thomas and Kenza Keller first met in 2022 at the Forbes Women 40 awards ceremony. According to the Caudalie co-founder, the complementary positioning of the two brands quickly became apparent, paving the way for Caudalie’s initial investment in Talm the following year.

The acquisition signals a new chapter in Caudalie’s growth strategy. Until now, the company had focused exclusively on expanding its flagship brand rather than building a multi-brand portfolio.
