Cargill Beauty has expanded its distribution agreement with Univar to cover LATAM cosmetics market. Effective immediately, the new partnership between the two big suppliers of cosmetic ingredients provides companies in Latin America with full access to Cargill’s nature-derived, label-friendly and highly functional ingredients to the personal care market in South America.

Thanks to an expanded partnership with Univar, LATAM cosmetics companies will gain full access to Cargill’s nature-derived beauty ingredients.

From now on, Univar Solutions’ customers will be able to combine our technical expertise with Cargill Beauty’s nature-derived ingredients to develop a new generation of product formulations,” said Edson Zicari, Business Director, Beauty & Personal Care, Univar Solutions South America.

Cargill Beauty’s portfolio of nature-derived ingredients is composed of texturizers, emollients, emulsifiers and sensory enhancers to help develop nature-based products for skin care, hair care, colour care and oral care.

Cargill Beauty and Univar are already partnering in the EMEA region where Univar is distributing Cargil’s personal care ingredients portfolio.
