The organizers of MakeUp in Paris - who also own Premium Beauty News - are delighted with the enthusiastic welcome the beauty sector offered to their project.

A very warm welcome

Only two months after its launch, “80% of the available space has been rented to suppliers in the make-up industry most of them being heavy weights of the sector," comments Sandra Maguarian, Show Manager. Among them are: Ancorotti Cosmetics, Faber-Castell Cosmetics, Fiabila, HCP, Jackel and Strand Cosmetics Europe.

We are receiving enthusiastic reviews and a lot of support from all sides. People we meet have understood that this is not a simple show in the classic sense, but much more an event meant to enhance efforts for innovation, research and development which are so important in the universe of make-up”, adds Sandra Maguarian.

For instance, Pilar Gonzalez, communication manager at Geka Brush explains their choice to participate in MakeUp Paris because they “feel it will be an extraordinary and unique event focused on make-up. This is a event we are looking forward to.” For Katherin Hecht, Faber-Castell Cosmetics, “it’s just the right time, the right place and the right team of connoisseurs to organize such an event”.

As far as brands are concerned, Daniel Saclier, Guerlain, considers that “MakeUp in Paris is an excellent initiative that I am sponsoring on behalf of the Guerlain brand at a time when, precisely, make-up has become a key axis of development for the growth of Guerlain, combining dynamism in formulation research and packaging design with always more complex technology.”

Products get on stage

Among the particularities of MakeUp in Paris, an original program of events, that goes far beyond traditional expert conferences.

In collaboration with Anne Camilli, consultant specialized in the universe of makeup, the organizers of MakeUp in Paris developed a dozen poles, whose purposes are to illustrate all the possibilities of use offered by make-up. On each of the poles, exhibitors will be able to enhance their products.

The make-up schools and the make-up artists that were approached also responded enthusiastically,” explains Sandra Maguarian.

MakeUp in Paris, the new appointment of the make-up industry, will take place on June 24th and 25th, 2010 at l’Espace Pierre Cardin.
