Beyond Beauty: visitors down “but quality up”

The Beyond Beauty tradeshow, which celebrated its 10th anniversary edition last week in Paris, recorded a slight decrease of 5% in terms of visitors. According to the organizers, this drop in quantity was counterbalanced by a steep qualitative increase, as the number of VIP visitors (decision makers, buyers and purchasing advisors), would have rose by 67%.

During 3 days, Cosmeeting, Creative Beauty & Spameeting, the three events organised within Beyond Beauty, have gathered about 21,100 professionals, with 39% of foreign visitors and 61% of French visitors.

As far as exhibitors are concerned, about 170 brands, among which 64 were new, coming from 23 different countries, participated in the Cosmeeting event, including for the first time, more than 25 brands, gathered in the Colors area, dedicated to all the beauties of the world. The Zoom area attracted brands such as Jardin de France, MitoQ, Ange du Sud, Inedit, Neomist, Lou d’Arbois...

Regarding Creative Beauty, the suppliers and subcontractors area (ingredients & raw materials, formulation, packaging & machines, company services...), it gathered more than 230 exhibitors among which 30% were new and 46% international. The year, the ingredients trend area, the BBLAB, had grew and offered exhibitors, partners and visitors the opportunity to discuss about tomorrow’s cosmetics under the theme a “better world”.

Eventually, Spameeting, the event focusing on brands for spas and beauty salons, gathered 70 exhibitors, including Cinq Mondes, AKD Gemology, Star Wellness, Laboratoire Camylle, Thalgo and RKF.
