Beraca hires new executives to address sustainability issues

Beraca, a Brazilian-based supplier of certified organic and natural ingredients sourced from the Amazon rainforest and other Brazilian places, has appointed Thiago Terada as its new Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility Specialist, and Malena Araujo as Biodiversity Manager.

The company says that these new hires will help to expand its work in supplying ingredients from the Brazilian biodiversity in an ethical and sustainable manner, thus further increasing its contribution to the country’s socioeconomic and environmental development.

Thiago Terada will have the responsibility to spread and consolidate sustainable concepts and practices into all areas of Beraca’s activity, while Malena Araujo will be in charge of Beraca’s Biodiversity Enhancement Program.
