Axium Packaging, a company specializing in the production of jars, bottles and closures in PET and PP for personal care and food markets, is investing 16 million euros in order to support the growth of its two main subsidiaries, Acti Pack and Loire Plastic Industrie.

Historically based in Andrézieux-Bouthéon, Axium Packaging has acquired an industrial building of 22 000 square meters located in Saint-Etienne with the aim to bring together its production factories in a single site.

The new site will allow the extension of Acti Pack and Loire Plastic Industrie production capacities by more than 15% as well as the expansion of storage solutions.

Complementary in their plastic packaging portfolio, Acti Pack and Loire Plastic Industrie will thus benefit from a closer cooperation to strengthen their products and services offers and their development strategy,” said Axium Packaging in a statement.

Formed in 1999, Axium Packaging is made of five companies specialising in plastic packaging: Acti Pack (PET bottles and jars by injection stretch blow moulding), Acti Pack CZ (products by ISBM of PET and EBM), KKT Kaller-Kunststofftechnik GmbH (packaging in PET and HDPE), Loire Plastic Industrie (injected boxes and closures), LAPAC (plastic injection of closures and sticks).
