Axilone’s expertise awarded at PCD

Awarded at the recent PCD exhibition, Hugo Boss’ The Scent continues to hit the headlines. The Jury appreciated the quality of the packaging and the selective metallization. For this masculine fragrance, French supplier of packaging components Axilone had to show its dual - metal and plastic - expertise.

This masculine scent is a major launch of last summer. Resolutely sensual, it combines the gross effect of a metal packaging to the amber colour of its juice.

Produce a masculine and sensual bottle

First challenge faced by Axilone, an anodised aluminium in matt silver that gives the satin effect of brushed aluminium, a male code important for the Brand.

The bottle has an engraved metal fret with plastic insert. The aluminium cap I composed of a plastic insert and a weight. The closing click is clear and neat. Axilone shows its dual -metal and plastic- expertise. Made in Auray (France), plastic parts are then assembled on the production site of Axilone Metal in Spain.

The brand new plant of Axilone Metal, inaugurated end 2014, was designed to meet continuous improvement specifications. The stamping workshop organization, the new high-speed automatic anodizing line and the automatic assembly lines, added to a 100% control of the production, are especially suited to fast and global launches. This is how the site meets two major challenges: shortening production times and ensure the launch by a high production rate,” said the company.
