Jim Slowey, Arropak

It has just opened in Fort Lauderdale under the responsibility of Jim Slowey himself, the Commercial Director of Arrowpak.

To note that, meanwhile, the Italian parent company the Baralan Group, has opened an office in China in Shanghai.

For Jim Slowey, "the outcome of the year 2011, which has just ended, is very positive for Arrowpak with an increased activity of over 15% on the previous year. And the year 2012 has just begun under rather favourable auspices. Concerning Florida, we have the opportunity to increase very significantly our sales. The region has a very dynamic network of companies specialized in the field of perfumery and cosmetics."

Initially focusing when it was founded in 1980, in the distribution, of standard bottles of nail polish designed by several glass-makers worldwide with its own moulds, this New York based subsidiary of Baralan the Italian group, has considerably expanded its scope of activity both in the skin care and then the make-up sector and finally by integrating new partners, particularly in Asia.

Today, Arrowpak’s portfolio , includes both bottles, caps and plastic jars, but also more and more make-up boxes, lipstick tubes, mascaras, lip gloss etc., plus a whole range of airless bottles.

One of the company’s biggest assets is obviously, its catalogue of standard products designed by its own team of designers/developers making it possible to offer some 500 moulds for nail polish bottles and at least as many in the other areas covered by Arrowpak.

Its warehousing activities are carried out at the company’s historic headquarters in New York (7,500 sqm) but Arrowpak’s also has Sales offices on the west coast.
