The Security division of the Arjowiggins group is in a period of steady growth. Arjowiggins Security employs 1,300 staff, and runs six plants around the world, manufacturing banknotes, official documents such as passports, visas, and tax stamps. The division proposes a large palette of products designed to fight against counterfeiting, forgery, theft and grey markets.

Arjowiggins Security is benefiting from the surge in the demand of brand protection and anti-counterfeiting devices. The company proposes a wide range of solutions suiting to all product categories in any industry: watermarks, invisible fibres, iridescent planchettes, security threads and holographic foils, tracers (binary, analogic, DNA, RFID), Synthetic Tamper Evident Substrate (in order to provide a guarantee to the user that the purchased product has never been opened or altered before), Spot Tag.

Among Arjowiggins’ lastest innovation, the Xtrack system allows creating of a new code from the“biometric” characteristics of a product. No need to print or engrave anything else on the product. “X Track” starts from products inner specificities (the position of fibres in a cardboard packaging, for instance), then codifies and records them. An affordable, unforgeable and undetectable solution that can be applied on any kind of material and product.
