Arcade Marketing, a US provider of sampling solutions to beauty, fragrance and skin-care brands, has launched BeautiPod, a new sampling solution that offers ample visual room.
Arcade’s BeautiPod provides consumers with enough product for a full application of creams, cleansers and lotions but provides consumers with a larger visual experience than a traditional packet sampler. Unlike a packet this new sampler format allows ample room for branding, imagery or couponing. Indeed, an Arcade-led research found that consumers prefer a larger sample to fully experience the product before making a decision to buy.
Arcade also claims that its BeautiPod projects a more upscale display of a manufacturer’s products “because it is easy to dispense and is neater than a packette.”
The BeautiPod can be used for a wide range of products, including foundation, skin lotion, creams, cleansers, suntan lotion, balms or ointments. It can be distributed through a variety of channels, such as retail stores, the Internet, or in direct mailers.
Furthermore, because of its larger sample size, BeautiPod also can be sold as a travel size product.
