Fragrance and cosmetic sampling company Arcade Beauty has announced the acquisition of substantially all the operating assets and capabilities of the US-based Suite K fragrance business thus boosting its filling capacity in North America.
The operation includes existing blending and production expertise at the 78,000 square feet (7,246 m2) facility in Dayton, NJ, for vials, mini-products, roller balls and full-size retail fragrance products. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to expand into this state-of-the-art facility,” said Peter Lennox, chief executive officer of Arcade Beauty. “It significantly increases our filling capacity and blending capabilities in the fragrance arena, underscoring our commitment to providing best-in-class sampling technologies for our customers.”
Headquartered in Edison, New Jersey, Suite K will focus on its creams and lotions business with a dedicated factory located in South Brunswick, New Jersey.
“Arcade Beauty is the perfect choice for this transfer of assets,” said Kathleen Croddick, founder and chief executive officer of Suite K. “The sale will permit us to concentrate resources on areas of strategic business focus.”
