Albéa, one of the main suppliers of cosmetics packaging, announced today the acquisition of Eyelematic, a US company specializing in the manufacture of metal parts as well as plastic injection, decoration, anodizing and assembly.
Located in Connecticut, USA, the three Eyelematic plants already serve many major brands on the American market with a diverse product portfolio for the cosmetic, skincare and perfume sector.
In particular, the acquisition of Eyelematic enables Albéa to add metal forming to the group’s range of capabilities. “Possessing this know-how is a major advantage in the world of beauty,” the company claims in a release.
According to François Luscan, Albéa President and CEO, this acquisition fits perfectly with the group’s development dynamics, which has the ambition to build a solid, global platform for growth. “We are exploring acquisition opportunities to offer our customers high added value by strengthening our presence in emerging countries and widening our product range through the integration of complementary fields of expertise."
