The Brazilian based sampling company has taken into account the changes in behaviour at the point of sale to propose a line of fragrance labels and cards that helps to protect customers from contamination.

The new range of samples features a special varnish with nanomaterials that help eliminate bacteria and viruses, including the new coronavirus.

Efficacy tests

Efficacy tests have been done with both bacteria and viruses, including an alphacoronavirus, which belongs to the same family than Sars-CoV-2, which causes of Covid-19. The tests were carried out in accordance with international standards JIS Z 2801:2000 and ISO 21702:2019 and showed that viruses and bacteria are unable to attach and multiply on the surface of the sample, preventing cross-contamination and ensuring protection in case the customer would share the sample.

With its special varnish, our new line protects against microorganisms on the sample’s surface,” says Sergio Picciarelli, director of marketing and innovation at Adhespack. “This extra protection is added to our standard line that is already safe, hygienic and single-use.

At the beginning of the pandemic, Adhespack introduced the Ticket Scent, a technology inspired by ticket dispensers used for queues, but adapted and patented for perfumes samples.

The samples distributed through Ticket Scent can use the new anti-bacterial technology developed by the company and therefore provide addition safety in the retail environment.
