Represented in the United States by Sharon Prestowitz, ACT Beauty will showcase its portfolio of premium packaging, beauty accessories, promotional items, and turnkey makeup and skincare development services at MakeUp in NewYork on September 16–17, 2026.

Turnkey growth strategy

Following its 2024 acquisition of Lavay, the French specialist in luggage, beauty and fashion accessories is positioning full-service cosmetics as a key growth driver. Founded by Cyril Dauvers, the group has structured a makeup and skincare offering spanning formulation, packaging sourcing, accessory development, filling, quality control, and regulatory compliance.

The product cannot be separated from its use, its application method, its industrialization process or its retail reality,” says Cyril Dauvers.

According to the company’s founder, this integrated approach responds to growing demand from brands seeking to accelerate product launches while reducing the number of external partners involved.

The new Cosmetics Business Unit is led by Amélie Jumel, an industrial biology engineer with 15 years of international experience in cosmetic product development, regulatory affairs, and industrial coordination. She oversees the entire development process, from concept through to market launch.

Leveraging this model, ACT Beauty positions itself as an “outsourced product manager,” responsible for selecting and coordinating industrial partners, integrating technical and regulatory requirements from the earliest stages of development, and securing projects so that brands can focus on marketing strategy and distribution.

A fabless approach to full-service development

ACT Beauty has applied the fabless model — already widely adopted by successful packaging companies — to full-service cosmetic development. Rather than relying on in-house manufacturing, the company leverages a network of specialized partners selected according to the specific requirements of each project.

Whether developing hybrid makeup, innovative textures, lip products, or skincare formulas, ACT Beauty’s multidisciplinary teams — bringing together expertise in purchasing, quality, design, and logistics — manage the entire development process.

According to the company, this organization provides greater agility while giving brands access to best-in-class industrial expertise, supported by centralized quality oversight and regulatory management.

Targeting North American brands

Following an initial appearance in Los Angeles, ACT Beauty is looking to strengthen its visibility among North American brands with an integrated product development offering designed to streamline the entire creation process.

The company sees its full-service model as a key driver of international growth, at a time when brands are increasingly seeking partners capable of bridging creative vision, industrial execution, and retail realities.

Finally, the group also highlights its sustainability credentials, having earned an EcoVadis Platinum rating (99%) for the fourth consecutive year.
