The Akademikliniken Skin Science Centre in Sweden offers medical skin care treatments, from light peels to advanced laser operations. The centre uses its own skin care range, the result of the research and development by its team of skin therapists, dermatologists and plastic surgeons. For the two latest anti-ageing products of the range (Pure Lift Serum and Pure Antioxidant Crème), the Centre has selected Yonwoo’s airless technology, in packaging developed by Quadpack.
Yonwoo’s airless designs protect the formulations from oxidisation and other external contaminants. Yonwoo’s Check Valve system further prevents back-flow contamination, ensuring the product does not seep back in after outside contact.
For Pure Lift Serum, Quadpack developed a 50ml airless bottle with a classic cylindrical shape. The slimline pack features a rim base and shoulder pump. The white colour-matched bottle has a bespoke cap with the logo debossed along the edge. A ‘peep’ window shows how much serum is left in the bottle. The pump provides a 0.20cc dose per stroke.
For Pure Antioxidant Creme, Quadpack used a 50ml airless jar with a dual structure. The inner container, visible through a transparent outer wall, is made of polypropylene for its excellent product compatibility.
“The jar features an actuator disc for hygienic usage. The disc is pressed down to release a 0.50cc dose with minimal contact, thereby avoiding bacterial contamination,” says Quadpack.
