Eden, Aptar beauty + home eco-friendly airless packaging range has just been awarded certification of compliance with Ecocert and Cosmos “Natural and organic cosmetic“ standards.

Aptar beauty + home, which claims to be committed to protecting the environment, adopted an ecological management approach via ISO 14 001 certification of its various sites in France and Europe. The aim is to reduce its fossil and electric energy consumption through the implementation of an action plan, and promote waste reduction, sorting and recycling, to reduce the amount of waste ultimately going to landfill.

Aptar beauty + home simultaneously implemented a Quality and Environment policy, underpinned by the creation, in April 2012, of a “sustainability / ecodesign“ working group, focusing on the design and development of packaging that is increasingly advanced and eco-friendly due to the use of "greener" materials - such as the PP / PE used for the Eden range - as well as more energy efficient. All six references in the Eden range - Eden Compact Standard 50, 100 and 150 ml, Eden Slim 30 and 50 ml - can thus be fully recycled.

With Eden, Aptar beauty + home provides natural and organic cosmetic product brands with a range of innovative, creative airless packagings that comply with Ecocert and Cosmos standards: yet another advantage to help them along the road to product certification,” said the company.
