As part of its development strategy, Nocibé - the third retail channel of high-end perfumes and cosmetics in France - launched its own label in March 2012, with the specific aims of making the brand more aspirational and targeting younger consumers, in order to boost in-store footfall.

The French retailer had to overcome several challenges in relation to this launch: speed of design and time-to-market, product originality and quality, coherence and respect for the brand, price positioning.

In this context, Nocibé has chosen Taiki Cosmetics Europe to assist it with the design and manufacture of the following products: eighteen make-up brushes and applicators for eyes, lips and face, two sponge pads, one powder puff.

In response to Nocibé’s brief, Taiki Cosmetics adopted a customised methodology for a full-service solution:
precise analysis of needs by our sales department, product design by the development team, in permanent collaboration with the brand’s marketing department, technical and industrial development (sampling, testing, pre-production runs, etc.), delivery, launch analysis,” says the company.

Taïki and Nocibé should continue their collaboration on other projects.
