To celebrate the launch of Wes Anderson’s latest film "The Grand Budapest Hotel," which hit screens on February 26, 20th Century Fox and Wes Anderson collaborated with Nose, a Parisian beauty boutique specialising in niche and high end fragrances and beauty brands, on a special new eau de cologne titled ’L’Air de Panache’.

Nicolas Cloutier, President at Nose

"Wes Anderson’s cinema, with its off-beat humour and meticulous production, corresponds well with Nose’s philosophy - it’s the precision of auteur cinema offered to a large audience, the same way we do in exceptional perfumery," explained Nicolas Cloutier, President at Nose.

It was niche perfumer Mark Buxton who concocted the scent, which opens with basil, bergamot, mandarin, petitgrain and green apple. The heart is composed of sambac jasmine and rose, while the drydown mixes amber, castoreum, cedar, oak moss, musk and patchouli.

The limited edition scent - 1,000 bottles - won’t be available to buy, but it will be on display at Nose and a number of luxury hotels in Paris.
