For the 7th consecutive year, Canadian company Corporate Knights has recognised Natura as one of the world’s 100 most sustainable companies in its Global 100 ranking.

Natura is the only Brazilian cosmetics company to appear in this list. "Each day we have the challenge to be an increasingly responsible company and that is why we are committed to a positive social and environmental impact by 2020," said Marcelo Alonso, Sustainable Development Director at Natura.

The Global 100 is determined using 12 quantitative sustainability indicators, including the amount of revenue companies generate per unit of energy consumed, the ratio of CEO to average worker pay and per cent of taxes paid, the number of women in management positions, the innovation capacity, among others.
