At the Luxe Pack Monaco show, the Swiss company showcased the “Fifth Element”, a new high-end box concept. This innovation features a few original characteristics:

A highly qualitative printed decoration on the five external sides of the box
The possibility of textured effects, thanks to a real refined embossing technical process
The “pillow” effect on the five sides to prolong the customer experience

We aim to make a difference in the field of rigid boxes,” explains Jean-Marc Tuffal, Head of Business Development & Innovation at Marvinpac.

The Fifth Element is a design that complies with the Swiss luxury industry standards.

For this innovation, the company chose a whole “eco-print” system: papers certified for sustainable forest management, manufacturing in Europe, determination to incite users to offer their boxes a second life, by encouraging brands to show creative in their decorations and designs…

To manufacture this unique, original product, Marvinpac has an automatic line adapted to much thicker paper than those currently used.

As a development specialist in packaging & accessory collections, as well as tailor-made packaging & automation solutions, Marvinpac has two production units located in Switzerland and Czech Republic.

Generally speaking, the company’s business is divided as follows:

A “Unique Selling Point” division for the development of packaging products and iconic collections to help brands stand out in their business lines
A “Solutions” division for tailor-made packaging & automation, renovation & packaging range studies, printing & finishing management, quality & logistics follow-up throughout customers’ supply chains all around the world

As for MS Swiss Cosmetics, the subsidiary they share with French company Strand Cosmetics Europe, they are entirely specialized in the formulation, industrialization, and packaging of Swiss made-labelled high-end skincare.

Created in 1999 and directed by Ludovic Hericher since 2005, Marvinpac achieved a 45-million-euro turnover in 2016 thanks to bestsellers in the field of iconic collections and accessories, with 23 million co-packed units and 11 million co-manufactured units involving 250 employees.
