The number of exhibitors at the third edition of MakeUp in NewYork has doubled compared to last year, announced the organizers in a release. The event dedicated to the suppliers of the makeup industry will open its doors on 25 and 26 September 2013 at Center548, on 22nd Street, in the heart of the Chelsea quarter.

CIBS Annual Fall Cocktail Party
On the occasion of this third edition, MakeUp in NewYork is also joining forces with the Cosmetic Industry Buyers and Suppliers (CIBS) organization at their Fall Cocktail Party the evening of September 25th.
The Cosmetic Industry Buyers and Suppliers organization (CIBS) boasts in excess of 500+ members in packaging procurement, sales, development, engineering and design, with the purpose “to provide amid friendly surroundings, a meeting place where the existing and future younger element may be properly inducted into the cosmetic trade.”
"Make-up" workshops
MakeUp in NewYork will also partners with the Department of Cosmetics and Perfumes of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). FIT’s students under the direction of Virginia Bonofiglio, will present the results of their work on make-up as part of a large cosmetic workshop.
