Germany-based manufacturer of plastic jars and bottles Herman Koch offers new type of decoration thanks to a new finishing tool.
“We can create unique products using haptic surfaces. A laser process is used to incorporate structure and depth into the tool and transfer the design to the product,” says the company.
Compared to existing methods, the laser process offers several advantages: it is ideal for presenting structures and fine transitions to other structures, there is no visible joint (pattern repeats), and no corrosive solution is needed, which good for the environment.
