The Aiglon Group has appointed Grégoire Huet as its new president, succeeding Philippe Conti, who remains a minority shareholder following the company’s recent acquisition by private equity firm Trajan Capital.
A graduate of ESME Sudria and HEC, Grégoire Huet has held various marketing positions at Nestlé and management roles in the cosmetics and health sectors at ANJAC Health & Beauty. He notably led Pascual, an industrial SME within the ANJAC Group.
In his new role, Grégoire Huet will be in charge to continue the group’s growth, drawing on its technical DNA, its customer culture and its ability to offer sustainable solutions to its partners.
Specializing in the manufacture of high-value-added natural and mineral emollients for international cosmetic brands and pharmaceutical laboratories, the Aiglon Group has positioned itself as a strategic supplier to over 200 loyal customers.
The strategic project led by Trajan Capital aims to strengthen Aiglon’s position as an independent producer of pharmaceutical and cosmetic ingredients by accelerating the development of natural and differentiated solutions and continuing its international expansion. Grégoire Huet intends in particular to build on the company’s historical expertise while continuing to invest in its industrial facilities to meet the highest standards of quality, traceability, and performance.
"I’m honoured to be taking over a century-old company like Aiglon. It’s a company with a unique positioning, with talented and committed teams. I’m looking forward to building, with them and our partners, the next stages of this great industrial adventure," said Grégoire Huet, President of Groupe Aiglon.
Based in Précy-sur-Oise, 40 km north of Paris, France, Aiglon is certified GMP Pharma Part II, ISO 9001 and 14001, and Ecovadis Gold. The company manufactures custom-made pharmaceutical and cosmetic mineral oil free petroleum jellies, biodegradable petroleum jellies and bio-sourced gels.
