The first edition of the Cosmopack International Business Forum & Exhibition will be held at New York’s Hilton Midtown Hotel on 16th and 17th September 2015.

The project was launched in 2014 with the Cosmopack Symposium that has since developed into a forum and exhibition, in partnership with Cosmetica Italia and Polo Tecnologico della Cosmesi, and with Independent Cosmetics Manufacturers and Distributors (ICMAD), the trade association representing independant American cosmetics companies. The event also intends to promote Made in Italy cosmetic products thanks to the backing from the Italian Trade Promotion Agency (ICE) and the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MISE).

The project was launched in 2014 with the Cosmopack Symposium that has since developed into a forum and exhibition.

We already have a strong presence in the American market with the Cosmoprof North America trade fair, the biggest in the sector, which we organise in partnership with the PBA (Professional Beauty Association). The US market is the leading market worldwide, ahead of even China and Brazil, and we believe it is important to establish a meeting platform for the East Coast, home of the manufacturing district for the biggest American cosmetics firms,” says Duccio Campagnoli, President of BolognaFiere, the organiser of Cosmoprof and Cosmopack events.

The Cosmopack International Business Forum & Exhibition will bring together a selection of Italian and international suppliers of the cosmetics and personal care industry, including Ancorotti Cosmetics, Apollo, Baralan Group, Brivaplast, Gotha Cosmetics, HCP Packaging USA, HCT Packaging Inc, Hypnotic Cosmetics Inc, Lumson, Omnicos Group, Oskar Karla, Pennelli Faro, Pharmacos, Pink Frogs, Premi.

An Innovation Circle, a special area in the middle of the show floor, will display exhibitors’ latest products and solutions to be launched on the North American market.

On the first day, conference sessions and workshops will provide participants with information and updates on the development of the beauty market. Among the issues at the agenda are:

“GMP and Transparency”, a session overseen by ICMAD,
“Exploring Innovations: Ingredients of the Future,” a roundtable fragrance and colour innovations,
“Peek into Tomorrowland: the Beauty Futures”, in partnership with UK’s trend and research laboratory Pearlfisher,
