The French glassmaker has invested 25 million euros in its Brazilian plant in Sao Paulo. Main objective, a mere doubling of the existing capacity, 70% of which is dedicated to the perfume and cosmetic sector (the remaining 30% intended for the pharma sector) with the start of a second furnace that will step up the total capacity of the plant to 140 tonnes/day. In addition to this new furnace and to five additional production lines, the investment also concerned the progressive commissioning of new decoration machines comprising two multi-pass screen and hot-stamp printing automatic machines.

A good year 2011!

An investment that occurs at a time when the local turnover of SGD will reach this year almost EUR 50 million, representing about 15% of the group’s overall turnover for the perfume and cosmetic activity./0} Actually, a 15% increase of the turnover on the previous year.
