ADF & PCD Paris 2018: Number of visitors up 12%

The ADF&PCD trade show, which was held in Paris on January 31 and February 1st 2018 in Paris, surpassed all its goals, both in terms of exhibitors and visitors.

With nearly 500 exhibitors from the beauty and personal care packaging business, the show grew by over 25% compared to the 2017 edition. As far as visitors are concerned, the show was attended by 7,224 professionals, a 12% growth compared to last year.

‘‘We couldn’t be more delighted by the reaction of both attending visitors and our exhibitors to this year’s show! The halls were buzzing with an incredible atmosphere and every stand was packed throughout both open days. It is clear that this has not only become the key calendar event for the European beauty and aerosol markets to come together, but also that it is a vital meeting place for serious business to be done,’’ explained Christelle Anya, ADF&PCD Event Director. ‘‘This provides us with a fantastic launch-pad to develop the show further internationally.’

ADF and PCD Awards

The show was punctuated by the ADF and PCD Awards, which rewarded the most outstanding innovations of past year. The two juries made up of the industry’s most revered professionals, experts and journalists, who judged 73 entries. 9 Awards and 11 diplomas were handed out for PCD and 8 Awards and 6 diplomas for ADF.

The PCD audience also benefited this year from an opening keynote by Coty Luxury on «Craftsmanship behind fragrance success stories» by Gaël Le Bourgès, Director R&D Luxury Packaging Europe for Coty, who exclusively announced the group’s latest launch.
