Creative perfumery may lack of a relevant retail network in France, but it does not lack of inspiration. Actually, in the case of Celine Verleure, creator of the Olfactive Studio brand, it was a bright inspiration that led her to revamp the image of the niche perfumery by involving web users in its project through a blog and a Facebook page: from the choice of the concept and brand name, to the name of the perfume and the creation of the bottle and packaging, everything was discussed online. The result: a modern brand, more intimate with contemporary art than with fashion catwalks, rooted in its time, and alleviated from a sometime burdensome tradition.

Supported by its creative team, Céline Verleure selects pictures from contemporary photographers that will serve as a brief for the development of a fragrance by a perfume creator whose imagination will be freed from marketing constraints, while asked to focus on natural raw materials. As a result of this encounter between art photography and contemporary perfumery, between the eye and the nose: a strong and original olfactory creation.

Lumière Blanche, the brand’s fourth creation in less than a year, was inspired by Italian photograph by Massimo Vitali, known for his wide shots of crowds and beaches. The fragrance created by Sidonie Lancesseur (Robertet), is described as "hot and cold contrasted mix", combining softness, sensuality and dazzling brightness.

Chambre Noire, Autoportrait and Still Life, the three fragrances initially launched by Olfactive Studio have already enabled the brand, created in September 2011, to be distributed in over 20 countries worldwide, Europe and the Middle East, of course, but also in South Africa and Australia.
