Lloyd’s Register’s subsidiary LRQA France, a certification agency specialising in risk reduction, is proposing a free online seminar on Cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and the ISO 22716 standard. The session will be held on the 9th of February 2011.

All products intended for use in the European Union must be developed in accordance with Cosmetic GMPs and all players in the the cosmetic industry are concerned: producers of raw materials, producers of finished products, distributors, importers and exporters.

The seminar will manly deal with:

A Comprehensive Approach to ISO 22716
GMP principles: how to easily implement GMPs through the simplicity of the ISO 22716 standard
 Regulatory basis
 Essential hygienic requirements

Concrete examples will illustrate potential improvements of processes and risk reduction that can be achieved through the ISO standard.

The seminar lasting 45 minutes will be held in French on February 9 from 2:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will be followed by an interactive session of questions and answers. The seminar will be animated by Jérôme Torchet, QSE Lead Assessor, who developed the ISO 22716 certification product for LRQA France.
