Cosmoprof Asia not impacted by global crisis

Cosmoprof Asia 2009 drew more than 41,000 attendees over the three show days, said the organizers of the event, which was held in Hong Kong from November 11 to 13.

The total number of visitors grew by 4% compared to 2008, with an 8% increase in overseas visitors. These figures contrast with the decrease that affected Cosmoprof shows in Bologna and in Las Vegas, and the Luxe Pack in Monaco, this year.

The excellent exhibitor and visitor response proved once again the importance of Cosmoprof Asia for the beauty business, particularly in these times of uncertain market conditions,” explain the organisers in a release.
