Revlon renonce à la Chine pour réduire ses coûts

Le groupe américain de cosmétiques Revlon a annoncé de nouvelles mesures de restructuration incluant la fin de ses activités en Chine, qui représentent environ 2% du total de ses ventes mondiales.

Ces mesures devraient se traduire par la suppression de 1.100 postes environ, principalement en Chine, dont près de 940 conseillers et conseillères beauté indirectement employés via un prestataire extérieur.

Revlon évalue le coût de cette restructuration à environ 22 millions de dollars avant impôts. Toutefois, cette décision devrait permettre au groupe d’économiser 11 millions de dollars par an, dont environ 8 millions dès 2014.
