The Recreate Packaging 2012 contest organised by Stora Enso and the Aalto University of Helsinki, Finland, aimed at challenging usual packaging conventions and increasing the use of renewable materials in consumer packaging.
The organisers received 44 entries created by 67 students from seven countries. Entries were submitted for three categories of cosmetics packages: primary package for cream, primary package for a liquid beauty care product and primary package for any other cosmetics, beauty care or health care product.
There was only one single constraint: using Stora Enso’s Ensocoat board.
