The supplier of cosmetic packaging and full services for beauty brands around the world, has recently announced having acquired 100% ownership of HCT Kent Packaging Ltd, the Chinese factory the group cofounded in 2006 with Taiwanese businessman Kent Lee.

With 500,000 square feet, the HCT Kent facility currently features a fully automated assembly line and specializes in plastic injection moulding, EBM (extrusion blow moulding), and IBM (injection blow moulding).

"This acquisition has given us the power to further merge our worldclass design and innovation capabilities with fully integrated in-house manufacturing. We have plans to double the size of the factory to increase capacity, which will allow us to aggressively capture business historically left on the table," explains Jenny Hsu, Chief Strategy Officer, HCT Group.
