Geka appoints Florent Lafond as Head of Beauty Business Unit

The Germany-based manufacturer of brushes, applicators and of complete packaging systems for liquid cosmetics, in particular mascaras and glosses, Geka has appointed Florent Lafond has the new Head of its beauty Business Unit.

Florent joins Geka from Aptar where he was General Manager EMEA of the beauty and personal care business segment at Aptar. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the packaging and beauty business to Geka and its mother company Sulzer.

With Florent, we are ensuring continuity for the sustained success of Geka. We are very confident that his leadership will contribute strongly to further growth in our core business segment”, says Amaury de Menthière, President Applicator Systems of Sulzer. “With these organizational changes, we will continue to focus our engagement on Geka and Sulzer Group level. Our goal at Geka is to be a reliable partner, setting trends and ensuring successful launches with high-performing beauty application solutions that inspire consumers”, continues de Menthière.

With its headquarters and main production plant in Germany and sales offices in Sao Paulo, Paris, New York City, Los Angeles, Poland as well as additional manufacturing sites in Elgin, USA, Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Shanghai, China, Geka can serve customers all around the world.
