Dapy Paris develops cube-shaped fragrance diffuser

Dapy Paris has designed and developed a cube-shaped fragrance diffuser for Editions De Parfums Frederic Malle.

The body is injected in tinted red ABS with a shiny gloss finish. “The Éditions de Parfums Frederic Malle” logo is raised on the left side. At the front, an on/off switch allows an aluminum cone in black to diffuse the fragrance. In back, there’s a light that indicates the battery’s energy level. The base is injected with tinted black PP. Two cavities are located beneath the base–one to insert the fragrance refill and the other is for the rechargeable batteries. Four silicone feet positioned under the base provide stability for the cube. The diffuser features two possible drive positions: pressing the switch once results in two continuous hours of operation and pressing twice, the diffuser works intermittently every 30 seconds for four hours.

Geka to launch small bottle with big volume

Small bottle, massive volume. Small is Beautiful. These are the themes showcased by Geka during Luxe Pack. On display will be the company’s new “magicRuby”, a bottle that can be filled with up to about 9 ml of lip gloss. The injection blow-moulded bottle offers a much greater volume than injection moulded bottles, the company says, thus creating space for lip gloss and individual design ideas.

Also highlighted at Geka’s booth is Lip Definer Max, a collaborative effort from makeup artist Michele Burke and Geka described by the company as simple, ergonomic and practical. “This power lip gloss loader achieves even lips and precise contours at a glance,Geka says.

According to the company, the secret of the application is its shape, inspired by the "pinky finger" of the Hollywood makeup artist. Now, the tool yields a tactile quality to the application that feels like touching your own lips. The flexible, soft flocked applicator is a patented creation of Michele Burke, exclusively produced and distributed by Geka.
