The Qualipac group made big news in Monaco during the Luxe Pack tradeshow. The reason of the buzz: the new Van Clef & Arpels “Féérie” vial, with the now famous cap featuring a fairy made of five zamak pieces, all of them polished and white-bronze galvanized. More over, the sculpture is assembled without a single drop of glue but only rivets.

Qualipac’s management seized the opportunity to highlight the group’s metal business and the creation of Qualimétal, which just started running a new 3600 sqm and 280 staff production unit in China, near Shenzen. The plant features four zamak injection lines, a workshop devoted to the finishing, fettling and polishing, and a galvanization and serigraphy unit
