According to the organizers, the first edition of MakeUp in Paris ended a very positive outlook. “We recorded 1,400 visitors, well beyond our goal and our forecasts,” says Sandra Maguarian, the show manager. “At first glance, the visitors that we targeted have been there, about 60% of visitors belonged to the marketing, development and purchasing departments of cosmetic brands, all distribution channels combined!

Despite untimely air conditioning difficulties that have greatly increase the inner temperature on the first day, the vast majority of exhibitors were glad of their participation in this first edition. “All of them are ready to go ahead with us on a new adventure next year,” said Jean-Yves Bourgeois, who manage the sale of exhibition surfaces. “And we already record several new applications.
