International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF) is opening a new facility in Russia. The 460-square-meter building is located in the ‘Moscow City’ business district and will be mainly dedicated to the development of IFF businesses in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Central Asia.
“The facility has space for sensory and consumer insight analysis, as well as offices for sales and marketing activities,” said the company, which intends to staff the site with fragrance and flavours sales and account personnel.
The Moscow investment follows the opening by IFF of new creative centers in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Shanghai, China earlier this year to serve growing flavour and fragrance needs in Latin America and Greater Asia, and the 2009 upgrade and expansion of facilities in Haverhill, UK, and South Brunswick, New Jersey in the US.
