French trade association appoints new director of international affairs

Juliette Mélédié is succeeding Hervé Rebollo at the head of the Department of Economic, Environmental and International Affairs of the French Beauty Federation (FEBEA), the trade association gathering companies perfumery, cosmetics, hygiene, toiletries, and hair products makers in France.

Graduated in biochemistry and scientific and medical communication from the University of Paris VII (Paris Diderot), she started her professional career in the laboratory of hematology and bacteriology at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Paris and as communication manager for Roche Laboratories. Then she spent eleven years as Regulations and Communication manager of the National Union of Food Additives and Ingredients Producers (SYNPA). Since 2006, she has been heading the Regulatory Affairs of ADISSEO, Rhone Poulenc’s former Animal division.

Juliette Mélédié‘s appointment is effective as of May 2, 2011.
