The 15th edition of Cosmoprof Asia, which will open its doors from 10 to 12 November 2010 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, will propose a special highlight on the Spa industry.
In complement to the 250 international brands and more, representing the Spa, beauty salon and wellness sectors, that will shoxcase their products, Cosmoprof Asia will launch Spa Soul, a multi-faceted project featuring exhibitor lounges, live presentations, networking opportunities and the Cosmoprof Asia Spa Conference. The project is sponsored by Pevonia Botanica together with Aroma Vera, Image Skincare, and PhytoCeuticals.
According to the organisers, the conference to be held on 11 November will be a key feature of Spa Soul. The speakers list include personalities such as Neil Orvay, Co-founder of Sense of Touch; Samantha Foster, Managing Director of Spa Source Asia Ltd; Ronald Jean, Managing Director & Senior Project Manager of Pevonia Global Spa Consulting; and Helene Goetzelmann, International Spa Manager of L’Occitane.
The conference agenda covers a wide array of subjects, including: the foundations of a strong spa operation; the retail and merchandising of skincare products at a spa; keys and concepts to creating a sustainable spa business; the growing trend of medical spas in Asia; etc.
Cosmoprof Asia organisers expect more than 41,000 visitors. More than 1,600 exhibiting companies will showcase their products over about 55,000 sqm.
