“Monoï de Tahiti: Fragrance or Beauty Ritual?”

In order to promote the use of Tahiti’s monoï in cosmetic products, and also change its image, the Monoï Institute had a simple and efficient idea: to illustrate the many potentialities of this ingredient through examples of sophisticated formulae.

On the occasion of the latest In-Cosmetics tradeshow, which was held in Paris, the Monoï Institute launched the 6th edition of its “inspiration guides” series, featuring five formulae in collaboration with Symrise Laboratories:

a shower jelly with lemon-tamanu monoï
a lip gloss with hibiscus-pineapple monoï
a perfumed mist with vetiver monoï
a solid with tiare-Tahitian vanilla monoï
a hair oil with miri-ylangylang monoï

The driving concept of this new product series: “Monoï de Tahiti: Fragrance or Beauty Ritual?”

At a time when the entire industry is re-discovering the all-encompassing importance of sensory content in the elaboration of care products and where, for its part, perfume is inventing very new galenic care formulations, Monoï de Tahiti invites us to discover next-generation cosmetics, at the crossroads of genres: An art of formulation that excels in exalting both the intelligence of our body’s cells and the magic of our senses,” says the Monoï Institute in a release.
