Salary : £32-35,000


Do you have at least 5 years’ experience in the formulation and development of cosmetics and toiletries in bath, body, hair and skincare ?

You have a science related degree or Diploma in Cosmetic science, and experience in developing cosmetics and toiletry formulations from first principles through to scale-up and subsequent full-scale manufacture.

You are up to date with UK cosmetic legislation and aware of European and global market regulatory requirements and have in-depth knowledge of raw material availability & functionality.

You are a smooth operator, managing your workload proactively, with proven project management experience, as well as the ability to manage the workloads of junior team members. You love to use your experience and skills to mentor junior chemists, supporting them with their individual workload and assisting them with their professional development

You are fully computerised, using information systems to retrieve, update and input all relevant data, in particular, knowledge of Product Development database (COPTIS) for in-house formulated products is an advantage.
