For the past three years, Expak the Brazilian firm specializing in the distribution of packaging for the beauty sector and more specifically of glass bottles manufactured by Pochet and Piramal the French and Indian companies, has successfully increased its marketing strategy in packaging for the make-up industry. It proposes in particular a whole range of mascaras, lipstick tubes and packagings for gloss and eye-shadow. To note a few days ago the marketing of a new model of eyeliner.

"Given production costs, most of our suppliers/plastic injection suppliers are Asian" explain officials at Expak, "but we haven’t excluded the possibility of relying on other suppliers even in Europe, for more upscale requirements, particular for metal-base packaging where demand continues to grow along with the increase in the standard of living in Brazil."

Another important market for the Brazilian firm, nail polish bottles which alone represent 30% to 40% of Expak’s sales of bottles in Brazil.
