North American specialist of injection moulding, SussexIM has promoted Joseph E. Reimer to the position of Business Development Manager. In this role, Reimer will lead worldwide initiatives to develop and grow sales opportunities for SussexIM’s services in all applications, including cosmetics, household, pharmaceuticals, and the technical industry.

He will report to Ed Fabiszak, VP Sales & Marketing and remain based in Sussex, Wisconsin.

Joe’s extensive sales experience, analytical skills and proven abilities in developing sales strategy, identifying new market segments and opportunities, spotting industry trends and leading teams to deliver on sales targets will help take our organization to new levels of profitable growth,” said the company’s President and Co-Founder, Keith Everson. “His extensive business experience and strong track record in working with large key accounts will serve us well as we continue to develop opportunities in a variety of markets. He also has a strong understanding of our technology and new product innovation, which will enable him to build upon our 11 per cent annual growth rate.

Joseph E. Reimer has been appointed to the position of Business Development Manager at SussexIM

Previously, Reimer served SussexIM as Sales Account Manager, and was responsible for managing the company’s largest customer relationships, driving new product creation, and developing alliances with Fortune 1000 companies.

Prior to his work for SussexIM, Reimer worked for Placon Corporation as Program Manager and, later, National Accounts Manager, where he spearheaded customer growth programs and managed the company’s key accounts. Earlier in his career, he also served as a Process and Manufacturing Engineering Manager for Placon. Reimer’s professional experience also included Playscapes Corporation, where he served as President of this furniture manufacturer and managed all day-to-day operations.

Reimer is a member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP) and the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE). He holds four patents for various packaging and dispensing devices as well as design awards for household and garden products. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology - Packaging Engineering, and an Executive MBA, from the University of Wisconsin.
