The 4th edition of the SPIM - Skin Physiology International Meeting - will be held at the Palais des Congrès in Vichy (France) on 20 and 21 November 2014. The SPIM is the forum for renowned scientists and young researchers from all disciplines concerned with cutaneous physiology.

The scientific programme for this 4th edition of the SPIM covered following subjects: stem cells, genetic ageing, microbiota and immunity, growth factors and matrix.

Furthermore, works from all participants will be exposed during the SPIM as posters and / or oral conferences. The two best, most original and detailed work are rewarded by Greentech awards:

 The SPIM Junior Scientist 2014, a 15,000 euros prize to reward the best oral presentation among the nine junior scientists selected and invited by the scientific committee.
 The Best SPIM poster 2014, a 4,000 euros prize that rewards, after a vote by the attendants, the best poster presented during the congress.

The aim of the SPIM is to cross-reference understanding, enhance expertise and expand the field of possibilities,” explain the organisers.
